On Monday, you will have 10 minutes to print your final draft persuasive letter. You will turn the evidence of the writing process with your final draft. Also, we will have reflection in class.
Thank you for your hard work. Your letters are truly excellent examples of hard work and commitment to completing a task with integrity.
The first draft of your persuasive letter is due on Monday's class. Please do not print it out, just have it available for editing and changing in Google Docs.
If you used your class time wisely on Friday and completely filled out the guide, you have no homework!
Be prepared to show evidence of the writing process and turn in your ad on Monday. Also, be prepared to present your ad to the class and to receive immediate feedback on the effectiveness of your ad.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Continue collecting material to use in your product ad:
Your ad must include a slogan, a visual component, a grab word, an ad copy, and the context must be clear in your verbal presentation.
Here is a resource to help you identify those requirements:
Tonight, collect at least two images for the visual aid portion of your un-buyable ad project.
Tonight brainstorm a list of AT LEAST 20 un-buyable products. You all got a great start on your work today. Finish your list by asking friends and family.
Bring your list to class tomorrow.
Work on refining your skit and be ready to perform for the class on Monday. Remember that the purpose of your skit is to highly terrible persuasive techniques. Make sure there is a clear beginning, middle, and end. Also, don't let the humor overshadow the purpose of the task.
Let me know if you have any questions. Also, be sure to provide evidence of the creative process to include brainstorming, a written script, and any edits or changes along the way. Your final draft will be the performance in class.
