The task is to create a reference sheet that says both the "what" AND the "so what." That is, explain why these elements of rhetoric are significant to becoming a better speaker and more critical thinker.
As some of you have commented, you're starting to notice rhetorical devices and appeals show up in the world around you. Use this webpage to make those connections. Insert YouTube videos, Tweets, Hyperlinks, and MEMES. This is a collage of your learning. Be metacognitive by thinking about how rhetoric is evident in the conversations we have, the commercials we watch, and the arguments we believe in.
