Today we delved into the two poems by Albert Goldbarth and Billy Collins, and you shared your analysis out loud to the class. Then, we applied the AIM strategy to analyzing "Out, Out" written by Robert Frost. In class, we didn't quite get to the main idea of the text. Reread the poem and come with fresh thoughts tomorrow.
In addition to revisiting the Frost poem, read and "take AIM" Alvarez's short story, "Snow."
Also, please bring your copy of All the Pretty Horses to tomorrow's class. I will pick up the two that are available in Eagle River.
Let me know if you have any questions.
